Official was that Aion is the largest online games this year and one MMORPG that must be played this holiday season.

NCsoft today announced that the preorder for the new online game, Aion, almost 400,000 orders, far more than any other online games this year. Topped the list of preorder sales, Gamescom earned a 2009 "Best Online Game" and PAX's "Best MMO" by Inside Gaming, and review a positive review during the beta period, Aion steadily build his reputation to become one of the biggest online game in several years last. Unlike most online games that come from Asia, Aion be well received by players from the Western markets.
